Iterations Manager / Scrum Master

The Role

Reporting directly to the COO, the role is for an experienced, passionate and hands on Iteration Manager / Scrum Master to join the Digital Delivery team. In the position you will be responsible to lead the delivery of digital initiatives and custom development projects for our clients.

You will be in charge of ensuring all sprint activities are completed in a timely manner, this includes; daily scrums, sprint planning, backlog grooming, coordinated releases, monitor sprint progress, and support the team by helping to remove any obstacles.

Leading the iterations of our products, in addition to driving internal delivery of sprints, you will also facilitate client workshops to gather product requirements and demonstrate sprint progress. Your ability to communicate effectively and motivate others in a team environment will be essential to maintain transparency and keep delivery teams on track.

The perfect candidate’s experience would include:

* 3+ years experience in delivering agile projects and developing high performing teams in a digital environment

* Strong facilitation and workshopping skills

* Good technical ability and understanding of scrum and agile frameworks

* Strong ability to lead, influence and make decisions in a fast-paced environment

* Ownership of the role with a passion to deliver outcome

* advanced proficiency in Atlassian and Microsoft product suites

Client Services Manager

The Role

Reporting directly to the COO, the role is for an experienced and hands on Account/Client Servicing Manager to join our senior leadership team and be responsible for managing our client service deliverables and overall success of our client partnerships.

In this role you will be responsible for managing a responsive service to our clients. With the assistance of your dedicated team, you will be in regular contact with each of our major clients, oversee all levels of our product support and training services, client communications, account administration, and be the escalation point for your team and our clients.

Essentially, you will be accountable for:

* Excelling in client services deliverables across our range of mobile and web-based applications and associated client and end-user services

* Leading and managing our small account services team in ensuring that they meet daily SLA deliverables together with completing all day to day client queries and tasks

* Leading and developing the Client Services Team to exceed expectations in superior customer service, supporting team leaders in responding to client enquiries and requests in accordance with our SLA’s for allocated clients

* Assist in engaging with clients about other products and services offered by InteractSport

* Determining Customer Service operational strategies by conducting needs assessments, performance reviews, capacity planning, and cost/benefit analysis

* Provide leadership and prioritisation as the conduit between our clients and project delivery team

* Responsible for the recruiting, selecting, orienting, training, assigning, coaching, counselling, and performance managing employees within your team

* Meet Customer Service financial objectives by estimating team requirements; assisting in the preparation of an annual budget

It is likely you are already in a similar role or ready to make the step up and just need the opportunity.  Apart from the usual well-developed interpersonal skills and ability to work under pressure expected in a key management role, you’ll be able to demonstrate: 

* More than 3 years’ experience in a similar account/client servicing role
* Proven leadership in client service operations and managing teams
* Strong working knowledge of customer service software, databases and tools and awareness of industry’s latest technology trends and applications
* Highly developed interpersonal and people management skills, including ability to interact with and influence people at all levels and lead teams
* Proven ability to manage client requests and drive to agreed outcomes
* Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
* Ownership of the role with a passion to deliver outcome

DevOps Engineer

The successful candidate will demonstrate extensive experience troubleshooting and supporting web and API based applications in a high availability, high usage production environment and to manage code deployments and system updates. As an experienced DevOps engineer you will bring proven methodology, process and tools to the table, and drive best practice strategy for our future infrastructure and deployment directions.

Duties include:

  • Managing security, monitoring, backup and DR for all web and database servers
  • Troubleshooting production performance issues include web server and database servers and software
  • Capacity planning and management
  • System architecture and design for key projects and initiatives
  • Contributing to incident and problem management across supplier partners and internal teams
  • Application deployment and continuous delivery processes
  • Deployment of application maintenance and enhancement releases
  • Installing and configuring server patches and upgrades
  • Implementing new applications, services, servers, and associated objects
  • Documentation, support and maintenance functions
  • Supporting our office based servers, network and PCs

Possess:

  • Significant experience supporting applications in a high availability production environment
  • Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
  • Facilitation of architecture reviews and design sessions
  • Experience working in an Agile environment
  • Strong Windows server System Administration experience
  • Strong SQL server administration experience including database replication

Have experience administrating:

  • IIS
  • Sql Server
  • Windows, Active Directory
  • Networking configuration and diagnostics

Have a strong understanding of:

  • Cloud based architecture, configuration, setup and deployment (Dimension Data preferred, Azure or AWS acceptable)
  • Website performance troubleshooting / caching strategies
  • HTTP protocol
  • Load balancers ( stickiness / SSL )
  • Basic network services ( DNS / SSH / SMTP / etc )
  • Scripting languages (eg Powershell)
